He and I both knew we were in extraordinary times with the pandemic, the economy, and a hot housing market. He never pretended to know how this hot housing market was going to play out or overpromise anything to me, but he did have the skills to negotiate a deal that was doable for my needs. If I had sold my house myself, like my close friends who just happened to be "self declared" real estate experts (I know, i was surprised to learn it myself), had suggested, I would have not sold my house within 30 days with cash in the bank to show for it, gotten the exact initial price it was listed for, thought to sweeten the closing conditions in the contract that Brian was able to get for me. The result: I was able to get on with my life more quickly than a Life change of this kind usually yields. With the wrong realtor, there were so many ways that this could have gone wrong, and I know that. I give myself 5 stars for picking Brian.
Brian helped us sell our home and was a great advocate and advisor. His knowledge of the market, attention to detail, accountability to ensure everything went smoothly, and legwork with the open houses, appraisal, and walk-through helped us get a solid offer and a smooth closing.
This is a happily ever after ending that almost sounds made up, but it's real. Brian sold our home in record time and made each step seamless. We live full-time in CT and sold our home in Florida. We showed up for the closing and went our merry way back North. Brian was always available, heard and respected our wants and worries, had wonderful suggestions, did all promptly, and made something that is normally stressful and emotional an easy process.
