Kendall is home to the world-renowned MetroZoo, a state-of-the-art zoo, which displays animals while allowing them the freedom of 300 acres of jungles, forest and trails to graze and roam. Kendall is also well known for its pristine beaches, several unique attractions, gorgeous south Florida real estate options, and its overall inviting, vibrant community. Kendall is a town with no borders. The community is an unofficially defined region of unincorporated Miami-Dade County, rendering it with no official city lines. However, most residents do adhere to a set of commonly drawn-out boundaries. Kendall’s western boundary is Krome Avenue and the Everglades. Its eastern border is largely lined by U.S. 1. North Kendall stretches and ends at Kendall Drive (SW 88th Street) and the southern cut-off is at Coral Reef Drive (SW 152nd Street).
